What is Life Coaching

The purpose of life coaching is helping others move from where they are in life to where they want to be. A life coach does not focus on the past, trauma, mental health, or addictions. Instead, a coach will help the client create goals and provide accountability in meeting those goals. Using exercises that focus on rewriting any negative or limiting beliefs, as well as empowering clients to discover their own solutions, life coaches help guide clients in the direction of their values and desires. 

 

Life coaching would be beneficial for anyone going through a change or transition in life, who is looking for someone to walk with them and help them navigate those transitions.  As a Life Transitions Coach, my main areas of focus are: helping people learn how to become an ally and to love and make space for the members of the LGBTQ+ community in their lives, faith transitions, and transitions in parenting.
